Solid Works and their graphic designer, Lindesign, needed to create a unique binder system to showcase their marketing case studies. The design called for a slim and sleek oblong profile that would stand out more than a typical 3-ring square back binder. The binder system had to compliment the page design of the case studies and accommodate future updates.

Shrier Works researched and selected a custom binder manufacturer and developed prototypes that would meet the client's aesthetic and functional expectations: a rounded, flexible spine with a thin gauge, matte black, steel 6-ring booster assembly. Multiple rounds of prototype configurations were submitted and a final approved design was selected. Shrier Works managed the printing, collation, and distribution of the case study sets. The success of this project led to the production of a second (silver) binder version and the printing of additional case studies.
